OUTDOOR CAFE

Description

A client of exsiting hotel project done by my office called for a extension in the courtyard to create a outdoor covered cafe. The structure needed to be light weight and withstand dust and heavy rain which are common in Wuhan. My idea was to create a floating landscape of irregular cells filled with polyethelene sheets. The structure is aminly made out of steel plates and supported on tree shaped columns.
