Ekaggart Singh Kalsi
The Taiyuan JinYuan District Cultural Activity Center celebrates traditional culture through modern design. Inspired by Mount Tianlong and Jinyang’s heritage, its architecture mirrors the surrounding mountains’ scale. Recessed glass volumes form the entrance, while textured stone facades echo ancient city walls, with horizontal lines and windows creating a contemporary look. The adjacent cultural park integrates water features, open spaces, a dry fountain plaza, and seating areas, serving as a vibrant community hub.
My role in the project was to design the massing and facade.
